Head north on Route 550 and as you drop down the twists and turns of Molas Pass, suddenly, there below you sit the valley and the small, rural mountain town of Silverton, Colorado.
Located at 9,318' elevation with a population of less than 600 people, Silverton is an outdoor Mecca. Bluebird summer days turn to fall quickly, which leads to a long, cold, quiet, snow filled winter.
There is no favorite season in Silverton, as each brings it's own charm, which keeps us here and coming back for more.
